Before starting my article, I wish everyone my best wishes for Diwali. I would like to know your plans for this diwali. Let me guess. Crackers, Clothes, Special dishes, travel and tours etc. We work everyday in a year and only celebrate these festival days. Yes.., aim of the festivals is also to enjoy these days. Apart from one day of enjoyment, why don’t we plan to start something on this auspicious day for lifetime enjoyment. I am not here to disturb your festival holiday vibes but to open your eyes for lifetime freedom vibes.
Every new year we make resolutions to start something new with our habits like going to the gym, traveling, learning new skills etc. Many follow them and too many forget them. Unlike new year, why don’t we start new processes on this diwali to go one step ahead in our life financially. I am sure that this is not a new year's solution to follow up on something. I suggest you start something on this day.
Many have believed that if we start something new on Diwali, it helps us to grow better in that field or life. Then only in the start market they are opening the market for one hour on Diwali in the name of “Muhurat Trading”. They believe that if they buy some stocks on Diwali, they hope that they will get more profit that year. But actually some use this as long term trading like Diwali to Diwali trading. They buy stock on this year's diwali and sell it on next year's diwali. If they buy good stocks, they definitely go high and they book profits. It happens as a market scenario or their beliefs. But they stepped up and got rewarded for that.
I don’t suggest you invest in stocks or trading on stocks. I would like to ask you why don’t you start like those on this diwali for your financial life. It might be stocks, Mutual Funds, Bank Deposits, Real estates, New business or anything else.
Yes. All days of the year we are working. I remind you that all days of the year you are working for your company or government in the name of taxes. I just ask you why don’t you work on this day only for you? I would like to ask you to plan for your future. I would like to ask you to evaluate your goals for the future. So I am just writing this blog to remind you to start work for yourself on this day.
Just start an investment which helps you to grow more than your normal savings. Focus more on investments than savings. Start a financial strategy to build your own empire. You might ask me to list out the investment options to start on this day. But I need you to search it on your own to earn the financial knowledge.
Many rich or high salary people also cannot have financial knowledge. It is about not earning it is all about how you hold and make it grow via compounding effect. This knowledge is only consumable by self learning not by giving ideas.
